Attorney General Rob McKenna’s effort to build a coalition committed to improving our public schools through proven reforms gained momentum today when Stand for Children Washington announced its endorsement of his campaign for governor.

Attorney General Rob McKenna made his gubernatorial race official today, submitting an online filing with the Office of the Secretary of State.

“A dedication to public service is something that is passed down in my family and it has been truly humbling to serve the people of Washington State as Attorney General for the last eight years,” said McKenna. “It is an honor for me to be able to file today to become the next governor of our state, and I look forward to continuing my service to the people of Washington in a new role.
